BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team's win streak came to an end with a 3-1 loss to No. 27 Miami, Sunday evening in Coral Gables, Florida. The Canes moved to 5-4 overall while FAU falls to 3-1.
Despite the score the young Owls challenged a perennial national power with
Martina Kudelova forcing her match, versus the nation's hightest ranked player, to three sets. Freshman
Radka Buzkova did the same to a top-100 player and
Natalie Kallmunzerova took her match in straight sets.
