BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's basketball team (10-13, 4-8 C-USA) seeks to get back into the win column with an afternoon tilt against Louisiana Tech (12-11, 4-8 C-USA) on Saturday. Tipoff is set for 2 p.m.
About the Owls
- FAU looks to bounce back after losing a close game to Southern Miss on Thursday night, 71-67
- The Owls currently sit at 11th in the Conference USA standings with Saturday's game against LA Tech playing a huge role in the overall C-USA placings
- Crystal Primm leads the Owls with 15.5 points per game and 7.7 rebounds per game
- Lotta Vehka-Aho follows with 12.2 points per game and leads the team in assists (60) and steals (37)
- Juliette Gauthier is the third Owl averaging double digits in scoring with 11.0 points and pulls down 7.3 boards per game

History Against the Lady Techsters
- LA Tech and FAU will square off for the ninth time in the series on Saturday
- The first meeting between the two teams took place in 1987 and the Lady Techsters and Owls did not meet again until 2014
- The Lady Techsters hold a 1-7 advantage over the Owls
- FAU has only beaten LA Tech once, and that came in Jim Jabir's first season at the helm in an 86-72 feat at home in 2018
