BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic University ranks seventh through the first two rounds of the FAU Winter Warm-Up women's golf tournament, with the final round slated for Tuesday. The three-round event is being played at the Osprey Point Golf Course in Boca Raton, Florida and is set-up as a par 72, 6,017-yard course.
The Owls shot a 306 in the first round, placing them in fifth place. But, despite improving their score to 302 in the second, dropped to seventh as the field grew more competitive.
Sophomore
Arielle Keating excelled in round one, scoring a four-over par 148 to tie for eighth individually. Freshman
Lilian Klug tied for 15th with a six-over-par 150.
FAU trails first-place Seton Hall (584) by 24 shots and will look to close the gap in round three on Tuesday.
FAU will play the third and final round of the Winter Warm-up on Tuesday at the Osprey Point Golf Course in Boca Raton, with tee time scheduled for 8 a.m.
