Women's Golf Team Values: Justine Fournand

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The 2020-21 Florida Atlantic University women's golf team has instilled three player-voted team values: responsibility, sportsmanship and discipline. Coach Aimee Neff's squad hopes to embody those values throughout the season.
This series will document the reasons why FAU's golfers chose the values they did, in their own words.
Sophomore Justine Fournand, who posted the best single-season stroke average (72.90) in program history last year, shares her thoughts this week:
"Hi, I'm Justine Fournand," she said. "I'm on the FAU women's golf team. I'm from France, and today I'm going to talk about our three core values. So, the first one is sportsmanship. Sportsmanship, for me, is acting like a team. And I feel like it's really important to help one another to get better every day. So now we can talk about responsibility. And responsibility, for me, it's just [to] be better every day. At least trying to get better. And the last one is discipline. Discipline is just being on time, practicing every day even when there are some days it's really tough. But all of our three core values are really related, and it's for that we chose them. And I hope we're going to have a great spring."
