Primm, Taylor Chosen as FAU Players of the Week

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University athletic department has named Crystal Primm of women's basketball and Cornelius Taylor of men's basketball as student-athletes of the week.
Primm extended her double-double streak to three games after capturing two more on the road at Middle Tennessee and UAB. The graduate transfer started out the roadstand at Middle Tennessee by tallying 21 points and a career-high 12 rebounds. Primm would follow up that performance with her second 30-piece of the season at UAB, leading all scorers with 30 points and 12 boards, while shooting 83.3 percent from the field. The guard averaged 25.5 points and 12.0 rebounds over the weekend.
Taylor had another outstanding week for the Owls. He tallied a game-high 26 points in FAU's comeback overtime victory against Middle Tennessee on Thursday night and followed that up with 19 points, all in the second half, against UAB on Saturday. For the week, he averaged 22.5 points, 3.5 assists and 2.0 rebounds per game, while shooting 60.7 percent from the floor.

Men's basketball will hit the road to face Old Dominion on Thursday at 7 p.m. with the game being broadcast on ESPN+.
