Final Results
BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's swimming & diving team ended their final home meet of the season on a high note, defeating Florida Gulf Coast, 151-92. This marks the first time over 11 years the Owls have taken down the Eagles, previously falling in the previous 10 meets. FAU won nine of 13 events on Friday afternoon.
- The 400 medley relay team of Abby Marshall, Fatimah Westbrook, Spence Atkins and Mackenzie Brown captured first in the event with a time of 3:51.93
- Danica Garbett captured first place in the 200 IM (2:08.95), second in the 100 IM (1:00.39) and third in the 200 fly (2:08.20)
- Hailee Trotter followed Garbett in the 100 IM with a third place showing (1:00.39), while Shae Clifton tallied the proverbial bronze in the 200 IM (2:13.73)
- Sarah Martin captured second in the 200 free (1:55.18)
- Brown claimed the top finish in the 50 free (24.34), while Marshall tallied third (24.89)
- The team swept in the 100 free, as Westbrook tallied first (52.92), Martin punched in second (53.71) and Brown came in third (53.89)
- Marshall claimed the top showing in the 200 back with a time of 2:04.35 with Kara Wilkins finishing behind her in third (2:11.53)
- The distance duo of Spence Atkins and Kirsten Hobson finished first and second, respectively in the 500 free with Atkins clocking in at 5:07.48 and Hobson tallying a time of 5:13.47
- In the 200 breast, Haley O'Meara logged second (2:25.11), while Trotter came in third (2:27.12)
- On the 3-meter, Malvina Catalano took first with a career-high score of 319.27. She was followed by Alicia Mora in second (287.70)
- In the 1-meter, Mora claimed the top score of 296.85, as Catalano finished second (275.32)
- The day rounded out with a second place showing in the 400 free relay with Dominque Sauger, Martin, Kelsey Witkay and Westbrook behind the 3:33.69 time
