FAU Athletics to Host Military Appreciation Game against Middle Tennessee

Military appreciation events on Oct. 12 when FAU Football takes on Middle Tennessee
Boca Raton, FL.- The Florida Atlantic University Athletics department will host a Military Appreciation Night on Saturday, Oct. 12 when the FAU football team takes on Middle Tennessee at FAU Stadium.The Owls host the Blue Raiders at 4 p.m. The game will encompass various events and in-game elements as well as special ticket packages and discounts.
Several of the special events surrounding the military appreciation game are listed below:
Discounted Admission for Active and Former Military Members:
Tickets for members of the military with a valid military ID will be 25% off. Tickets can be purchased in person the day of the game at the Gate 1 Box Office at FAU Stadium starting at Noon.
Pregame Tailgate for Active and Former Military Members:
All military members and their families are also invited to enjoy a complimentary pregame tailgate with various food and beverage options. A valid military ID is needed for entry. The tailgate will take place starting at 1:30 p.m. outside of FAU Stadium on the South end of the stadium by Subway.
Giant American Flag Pregame Presentation:
All military members in attendance are invited to be a part of the pregame ceremony and help hold the giant American Flag on the field during the National Anthem. If you are interested in holding the flag during the pregame, please email OwlMarketing@fau.edu. (Must have game ticket to participate. Space is limited).
Military Hat Ticket Package:
FAU Athletics will once again offer a special limited-edition ticket package for the Military Appreciation Game. All fans can purchase a Military Package that includes a game ticket and an FAU themed military hat. To purchase click HERE. Seats for Service:
All fans are encouraged to participate in the Seats for Service program. For every $5 Seats for Service purchase, a ticket will be provided to a service member in the local community to attend the FAU Military Appreciation Game. Fans can purchase Seats for Service at FAUTickets.com/Service.
