Softball Set to Host Walk-On Tryouts

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University softball team will hold walk-on tryouts for the upcoming 2020 season. Tryouts will take place on Thursday, September 12 at 6:30 p.m. at FAU Softball Stadium.

The tryouts are open to full-time FAU students, who are enrolled in a minimum of 12 credit hours. In order to tryout, participants will need to show proof of a physical performed within the last year, and must complete the required paperwork prior to the start of tryouts. Softball is gearing up for the 26th season of the program under direction of head coach Joan Joyce. FAU will be returning 11 players from the 2019 season and welcoming 12 newcomers.
