The Owls were then unable to match the Blue Raiders' power at the plate in game two to fall by a score of 9-3.
Game 1 Key Plays:

The Owls would regain the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning off sacrifice flies by Kelsey Morrison and Kaitlyn Burke to send home Jolie Duffner and Fayth Davis home, respectively. In the top of the sixth inning, Middle Tennessee scored off a wild pitch, bases-loaded walk and a 3-run double by Lani Rodriguez. The Owls were unable to recover from the tough inning and fell short by a final score of 6-3.
