#17/19 Beach Volleyball Hosts Stetson For Senior Day

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University beach volleyball team will close out the regular season at home with a pair of matches against Stetson on Friday.
FAU is ranked 17^th by the AVCA and 19^th by DiG Magazine. The Owls will face the Hatters, who are ranked 10^th and 11^th in the two polls, at 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Stetson will also play a match against #8/10 FIU at noon. Friday is Senior Day and FAU will recognize its seven seniors before the 2 p.m. match.

ABOUT THE OWLS

FAU is 11-11 overall this season, and 5-7 in CCSA play.
Jillenne Cangelosi and Megan McGrath have a 16-6 record so far this season, which is the best on the team.
The team of Nicole Grant and Amanda Silva are 15-7 on the year.
Erica Brok and Mackenzie Morris, the school's all-time winningest duo hold a 13-9 record this season.

LAST TIME OUT

FAU took three tough losses at last weekend's FSU Beach Bash.
The Owls lost to #3 Florida State 4-1 and #17 Georgia State 5-0 on Friday.
On Saturday, FAU lost to no. 8 FIU 3-2.

SERIES HISTORY

Stetson leads the all-time series over the Owls 8-1, including a pair of wins earlier this season in DeLand.

SCOUTING THE HATTERS

Stetson (23-8) is on a seven-match winning streak, but six of their eight losses have come against CCSA opponents.
The Hatters have four pairs with at least 20 wins so far this season, led by the duo of juniors Carly Perales and Sunniva Helland-Hansen.
