BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University men's golf team finished what they started on Sunday, shooting their best round of the tournament on the final day of the FAU Spring Championship at Osprey Point Golf Course. The Owls carded a 273 for the day to finish 26-under par for the tournament for second place overall.
Sully Zagerman claimed third place individually, shooting 11-under.

- The Owls finished the third round with a score of 273. That 15-under par single round score is the second lowest in program history and 273 is the third lowest single round score for the Owls all time. Overall, FAU finished 26-under with a total score of 838 which is the second lowest 54-hole total in FAU history and fourth lowest in the tournament's 11-year history. The Owls carded 286-279-273—838 for the weekend
- Sully Zagerman was the top Owl with a third-place finish overall. He capped off his impressive weekend with a 66 on Sunday to finish 11-under overall. His 66 is his career low single round score. Zagerman carded 205 for the tournament. That mark is tied for the third lowest player score through 54 holes in program history and tied for sixth overall in the tournament's history.
- Eric Dekarski also shot for 66 on Sunday. He and Zagerman's 66 is tied for the fifth lowest single round score in program history and it was a career low for both players. Dekarski finished the tournament shooting 7-under for a total score of 209, which is tied for the 11th lowest score in FAU history. Dekarski finished tied for eighth place overall
- Lynes Behling carded a 70 on Sunday to finish the tournament 6-under and tied for 10th place. The freshman has continued to make strides of improvement since joining the team in January. He has improved his overall score in each tournament and had his best 56-hole total of the season by 20 strokes in the FAU Spring Championship
- Patrick Poate finished Sunday with a 1-under par score to stay even for the tournament. Poate ended tied for 29th place
- Karan carded a 73 on Sunday and finished the tournament 2-over. Bruce Morrison, Jr. had a 77 for the day and Brian Dolehide shot a 78
- Compared to last season in the same event, FAU finished eight spots ahead on the leaderboard (10th place finish last season) and 32 strokes better overall
