Women's Tennis Prepared to Host Three in Four Days

Unlike traditional FAU students, who will pack their lawn chairs, sunscreen and cooler for a "Spring Break" day at the beach, the Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team (2-4) will pack their rackets, uniforms and water bottles for three matches in four days and five matches total during the break. The Owls' spring break will feature matches on March 3, March 4 and March 6 hosting Toledo, Georgetown and Charlotte and will conclude on March 9 versus VCU.

The Owls have a scheduled 10 a.m. start for both the Toledo and Charlotte matches, while sandwiched in the middle is the Georgetown matched scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m.

The Owls are led by Kristen Thoms, a senior who is 2-2 on the year.

The doubles pair of Martina Kudelova and Natalie Kallmunzerova hold the best doubles record at 2-1 playing both at the No. 2 and No. 3 spots.

All FAU home matches are held at the FAU Tennis Complex, located behind the FAU Arena. Matches are free and open to the public. Fans can follow the team live HERE or via twitter at FAUAthletics.
