Beach Volleyball Moves Up in Both National Polls

BOCA RATON, Fla. - (Feb. 25, 2019) –  Off to a 4-0 start for the first time in program history, the Florida Atlantic University beach volleyball team has moved up in both national polls, ranking 16th in the latest DiG Magazine poll and 18th in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) poll.
The Sandy Owls swept all four of their matches at the Paradise at the Burrow tournament, including a 5-0 win over then 19th-ranked TCU.
FAU welcomes three top-10 teams (no. 4 LSU, no. 5 Florida State and no. 10 South Carolina), in addition to undefeated UAB for this weekend's Burrow Beach Bash. Action starts at 8 a.m. Friday. The event is free and open to the public.
