th-ranked Florida Atlantic University beach volleyball team swept North Florida and Florida Southern at the Paradise at the Burrow tournament on Saturday. The Owls are 4-0 for the first time in program history.

Match 1 vs. UNF
As they did in both matches on Friday,
Savannah Pesante and
Kaila Dorish gave FAU its first point with a sweep at no. 4, 21-13, 21-16. Megan Mcgrath and Jillienne Cangelosi made the score 2-0 with a pair of 21-19 wins on court five.
Nicole Grant and
Amanda Silva clinched the match for FAU with a straight set victory at no. 3. Sophomores
Erica Brok and
Mackenzie Morris dispatched of UNF's no. 2 tandem, 21-16, 21-17. At no. 1,
Carly Scarbrough and
Nicole Navarro had to withstand a fierce challenge, but ultimately completed the sweep for FAU.
Johannah Cummines and
Kristi Tekavec swept their match on the exhibition court.

Match 2 vs. Florida Southern
Once again, it was Pesante and Dorish that broke through first for the Owls, winning 21-12, 21-10 on court four. McGrath and Cangelosi cruised to a pair of 21-10 outcomes on court four, extending FAU's lead to 2-0. Morris and Brok steamrolled their way to a 21-10, 21-7 victory at no. 2, sealing the victory for the Owls. Florida Southern didn't go easily, forcing both Silva and Grant (no. 3) and Scarbrough and Navarro (no. 1) to extra points before both tandems emerged victorious, concluding the sweep.
Mazarine Tsuji and
Julia Lewkowicz were impressive on the exhibition court, winning 21-6, 21-7. Â
