Women’s Basketball Receives Bonus Play Schedule

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The Florida Atlantic University women's basketball team's final four games have been released, as announced by the league Friday. The scheduling of the remaining conference games is based on a midseason poll conducted by the Conference USA head coaches. Bonus play will commence on Saturday, Feb. 22.
FAU's first bonus play game will be played at home against Western Kentucky on Saturday, Feb. 22. The Owls will then hit the road for two road matchups, starting at Old Dominion on Saturday, Feb. 29 and finishing at Southern Miss on Thursday, March 5. The Owls will host their final home game of the season on Saturday, March 7, as they will receive a visit from Marshall. All times and television information is to be determined.
The renewed schedule format was passed by the league's athletic directors in May. The layout is designed to provide competitive matchups at the end of the regular season in hopes of increasing the number of C-USA schools invited to the NCAA Tournament.
