Women’s Tennis Competes in Fort Myers

BOCA RATON, Fla. – The bulk of the Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team headed to Fort Myers to participate in the Bedford Cup hosted by Florida Gulf Coat University.

FAU found success in doubles play with Natalia Boltinskaya advancing in both singles and double action.

Newcomer Louie McLelland also had a big day capturing two singles matches and advancing to Saturday morning action and McLelland also teamed with Boltinskaya to pick up a doubles win.

Action in Fort Myers will continue Saturday morning, while Martina Kudelova, ranked No. 51 nationally, will begin play in an ITA pre-qualifier in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
