– Twenty-two members of the Florida Atlantic University men's and women's swimming & diving competed at the TYR Fall Classic Presented by Omega Timing on Friday night. After day one of the two-day meet, both the men and women sit in seventh place with the men posting 167 points and women recording 160 points.

- Sharon Kok kicked off individual events with a sixth-place finish in the 200-yard freestyle (1:55.47)
- Spence Atkins tallied a fifth-place finish in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 57.14
- Mackenzie Brown racked up another top finish in the 50 freestyle with a fourth place time (24.00)
- In the 100-yard breaststroke, Fatimah Westbrook took fifth place (1:05.15)
- Abby Marshall captured sixth in the A-final of the 100-yard backstroke (57.77)
- Alicia Mora tallied sixth place in the 3-meter A-final with a score of 236.80. Malvina Catalano finished second in the B-final (257.10).

- Kyle Douglas captured fifth in the 400-yard IM with a time of 4:04.53. The freshman would later claim fourth in the 100 backstroke with a time of 51.32
- After coming off Coastal Collegiate Sports Association Swimmer of the Week honors, Rateb Hussein scored a third-place title in the 100 butterfly (49.38)
- Josh Fountain captured third in the B-final of the 200 freestyle with a time of 1:42.35
- In the 1-meter, Michael Cannatelli finished fifth with a score of 248.25. The sophomore is coming off CCSA Diver of the Week honors
