The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team (1-2) hit the courts Friday morning, the second Friday in as many weeks, to play host to the 2019 Owl Cup Hidden Dual Tournament. The tournament featured host FAU, ASA Miami, Northwestern State University and Stony Brook University.
The tournament's Friday scheduled was expanded in an attempt to get the three-day event compacted into two based on the reported expectation of Sunday rain.
The Owls opened the morning with matches versus NSU, both doubles and singles. FAU broke for lunch and then rounded out the day with doubles and singles matches versus ASA Miami. Team scoring was not kept holding to the tournament format. All together the Owls captured 17 matches on the day.
