2018 Parking Map

Dear Owls,

Thank you for your support of FAU football. I want to share a few important details as you prepare for FAU Game Day tomorrow to ensure you have a tremendous experience. Our Athletics staff took your feedback from last season's year-end survey to improve safety and efficiencies; the resulting guidelines will help you plan ahead for a great Game Day:

Clear Bag Policy: In order to provide a safer environment at FAU Stadium, as well as quick access into the stadium, we are continuing with our clear bag policy. Permissible items include:
      i.    Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12" x 6" x 12"
      ii.    One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (i.e. Ziploc bag)
      iii.    Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, with or without a handle or strap
      iv.    An exception will be made for medically necessary items after proper inspection
      v.    Prohibited items include, but are not limited to: purses larger than a clutch, coolers, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, non-approved seat cushions, or any bag bigger than the permissible size

Express Lanes: All entrances will have "No Bag" lines to simplify the process for those fans attending with no bags or clutch purses. This is the recommended option and will allow for faster entrance into FAU Stadium for fans who are carrying just a phone, car keys, or small, permitted items in their pockets. There will be metal detectors at all gates to ensure safety for our fans. Please allow extra time upon entry into the stadium.

Game Schedule: We encourage you to arrive early to avoid traffic and make your way into the stadium in time for kickoff. The schedule for Saturday, September 8 is as follows:
      i.    Parking lots open at 10 a.m.
ii.    FanFest/Corporate Village opens at 11:30 a.m.
      iii.    The Owl Walk takes place in Lot 5 (Rat's Mouth) at approximately 12 p.m.
      iv.    Stadium gates open at 12:30 p.m. (Giveaway: 2018 Football Posters)
      v.    The National Anthem will be performed by Boca Raton Christian School
      vi.    Kickoff at 2:05 p.m.

Sportsmanship: Conference USA encourages and promotes good sportsmanship by student-athletes, coaches and spectators. We request your cooperation supporting the athletes and officials in a positive manner throughout the game.

Parking: Linked at the top of this page is a map of our Game Day parking. You will be directed to park in specific lots based on where you enter campus. Again, the parking lots will open at 10 a.m. and gates will open at 12:30 p.m. Please be aware there will be heavy traffic so arrive early.

We understand the metal detectors and clear bag policy require additional time and effort for everyone, but upholding the safety of our students and fans is our first priority. We are deeply committed to exceeding your expectations and we will work tirelessly to achieve this goal.
