JACKSONVILLE, Fla. -- The Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team shut down North Florida 4-0 on Saturday to win its fifth straight match to wrap up the regular season.
The Owls (17-9), won the doubles point as the duo of Anthony Schohn and Arthur Stefani topped UNF's Nilo Duarte and Alberto De Meo 6-2. FAU clinched the point when Jason Legall and Ignacio Garcia beat Till Von Winning and Sahil Deshmukh 6-4.
- Stefani continued his strong play into singles, knocking off Duarte 6-2, 6-3
- Garcia won his fifth in a row with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Von Winning in the No. 4 slot
- Thomas Bugeaud sealed the victory for FAU with his 6-2, 6-3 win over Joe Ellis
