BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Senior Jennifer Leib clinched the winning point as the Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team topped Richmond 4-2 on Monday.
- No. 6 Aliona Bolsova started the match with a 6-1, 6-1 rout of Richmond's Emily Dunbar
- Freshman Natalia Boltinskaya followed with her 6-2, 6-3 win over Dessi Zlateva
- Senior Marisa Ruiz extended the FAU lead with a 6-2, 6-1 win against Ana Ramirez in the No. 5 slot
- Richmond began to mount a comeback as Kiana Marshall beat JaCara Gillis 3-6, 6-3, 6-3 and Lea Owens topped FAU's Kristen Thoms 6-4, 6-3
- Leib then stepped up to clinch the winning match as she beat Gaby Rosales 6-2, 6-4
- Doubles play began, but was halted due to weather. Aliona Bolsova/Jemi Aguilar and JaCara Gillis/Natalia Boltinskaya were leading their respective matches at the time play ended
