Football’s Harrison Bryant Named Academic All-Conference

Harrison Bryant, a Florida Atlantic University junior tight end, was named on Thursday to the 2018 InTouch Credit Union C-USA Football All-Academic Team.
Bryant is the fourth FAU football player to earn a spot on the Conference USA All-Academic team since FAU joined the league in 2013. His inclusion marks the fourth consecutive year that an Owls has been selected to the holistic 11-member team. His spot on the team placed FAU among the nine C-USA institutions represented in the 14-member league.
The Gary, Georgia native was one of six newcomers to the 2018 All-Academic Team. He earned the spot by holding a cumulative 3.676 GPA in health administration. The junior was listed on the 2018 Mackey Award watch list, an honor that recognizes the nation's best tight end. Bryant found the end zone four times in 2018 and surpassed 1,000 receiving yards in his career.
