NASSAU, BAHAMAS - Junior forward Jailyn Ingram combined with another talented freshman to lift the Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team to a victory. This time, it was Jaylen Sebree, who scored a career-high 21 points to go along with Ingram's 20 points and 10 rebounds in the Owls' 85-71 win over Towson at the Islands of the Bahamas Showcase on Saturday.
The Start
The Tigers (1-3) jumped out to a quick six-point edge, but the Owls (3-1) soon rallied to even the score. From there, the two sides exchanged the lead several times, with FAU scoring five straight points to take a 40-35 advantage into the halftime locker room.
Â
The Turning Point
After a Towson triple cut the Owls' lead to 51-46 just over five minutes into the second half, FAU responded with nine unanswered points to go up 60-45.
Â
The Finish
Towson never seriously threatened again, as FAU's lead remained at least a dozen for the rest of the game.

Quotable
FAU Head Coach Dusty May
"Jaylen (Sebree) has just presented a problem (for opposing defenses) because he's letting the game come to him, he's attacking in space and he's shooting the ball well, which makes him a tough matchup."
