Softball Hosts UTSA for Final Home Series

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University softball team will conclude its 2017 home schedule with a three-game set against UTSA. The Owls are currently in fourth place in the Conference USA, which would qualify them for the final bye to move to day two of the C-USA Championships. Saturday is Senior Day for the Owls.
Last Week: FAU (30-18, 10-8 C-USA) lost two of three contests to North Texas in Denton last weekend. The Owls won the opener 3-1 before dropping the next two, 3-2 and 2-0, respectively.
History: The Owls have won six of the seven all-time meetings with the Roadrunners, including a three-game sweep last season in San Antonio.

Seniors Delaney Rickey and Amanda Wilson will be honored prior to Saturday's first game, which will start at 4 p.m. First pitch on Sunday is set for 1 p.m.
Upcoming: FAU will travel to New Mexico State before closing the regular season with a series at UTEP.
