DENTON, Texas (April 23, 2017) - Florida Atlantic University's softball team lost the rubber game of its series against North Texas 2-0 on Sunday. Owls are now 30-18 overall and 10-8 in Conference USA play.

Key Plays
North Texas hit a two-run homer to left field to take a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the third inning. The Owls struggled to bring runs in for the duration of the game as they left seven runners on base. In the top of the seventh, FAU tried to bring some runs but the Mean Green kept them from doing so, shutting the Owls out and winning the series.
