ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University beach volleyball team improved its winning streak to 15 with a pair of 5-0 victories at the Battle on the Bay on Saturday. The Owls (16-2) arguably enjoyed their most convincing day of the season, as they did not drop a set on any of the 10 courts played.

Match 1 vs. Huntingdon College
Nicole Grant and Nicole Navarro blitzed their opponents, winning on court no. 5 21-6, 21-4. Sam Gott and Jazmine Barker (no. 4, 21-8, 21-8) and Maja Ristic and Brittany Pellitteri (no. 3, 21-10, 21-8) kept the foot on the gas for the Owls. Candace Lacour and Gabrielle Dischler garnered a straight set victory on no. 2. Jessalyn Kinlaw and Megan Rice had the closest win of the match, winning in straight sets, 21-11, 21-16 on court one.
