BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University women's tennis team swept UConn 4-0 on Monday with each Owl performing well to start a busy week.

• Heather Walton and Alisa Rudenko started the match with an impressive 6-1 win over Gillian Perrotta and J. Fitz-Randolph
• After UConn took the next doubles match, the Owls responded with Ana Gutierrez and Laura Fabrizi clinching the point with their 7-6 victory
• Gutierrez rode the momentum into singles action with a 6-1, 6-2 win over Fitz-Randolph in the No. 3s • Lyndsey Boos bounced back from a doubles loss to win her singles match against Yelyzaveta Pletnyeva 6-3, 6-3
• Fabrizi sealed the match in favor of the Owls in her 6-1, 6-3 win over Emma Alderman as the No. 1
• Marisa Ruiz led Jacqueline Lazaro 6-4, 4-0 and Rudenko led Zaina Zaki 6-3, 4-2 when play ended.
