CORAL GABLES, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University men's tennis team saw its eight-match win streak draw to a close with a 5-2 loss at Miami on Sunday. The Owls are now 8-2 on the season.

• Miami struck quickly to take the doubles point, winning the first two matches 6-2 and 6-3, respectively. The FAU duo of Remi Chancerel and Andrei Morin-Kougoucheff led 5-4 at the time the doubles point was clinched
• Arthur Stefani bounced back to defeat Kevin Bondar in singles action 7-5, 6-1 to put FAU on the board
• Remi Chancerel battled against Christian Langmo in the No. 2 spot, but suffered his first loss of the season 4-6, 4-7 to snap his seven-match streak in singles
• Anthony Schohn followed with a nailbiter, but came up just shy in a 3-6, 6-1, 7-6 loss to Jesse Flores
• Morin-Kougoucheff fell 6-4, 6-2 against No. 63 Pitor Lomacki in the ones
• Ignacio Jimenez ended the match on a high note for the Owls with his 4-6, 6-2, 7-5 victory over Dane Dunlap
