Upcoming Event: Swimming & Diving versus CSCAA Open Water National Championship on December 13, 2025 at All Day

BOCA RATON, Fla. -- The Florida Atlantic University men's and women's swimming and diving teams hosted four teams for the FAU Fun Invite on Wednesday afternoon at the FAU Aquatics Center.
An overall score was not kept, instead the meet served as an opportunity for the teams to compete against quality opponents while having fun and socializing with other teams. Old Dominion, Denver, Wittenberg and the North Texas women's team all took part in the meet.
HIGHLIGHTS
Women
The women's swimming team claimed 11 top-five finishes on Tuesday. Miranda Fellowes won first in the 50 backstroke event with a time of 27.26.
Lauren Beyer claimed the top spot in both the 1- and 3-meter diving events.
Men
The men's swimming team came away with 13 top-five finishes overall. Reilly MaGuire, Phillip Crouch, Sean Arrington and Cole Wisecarver spearheaded the 100 yard medley relay, claiming first with a time of 43.25. Maguire also had an individual first place finish. He came out on top in the 50 yard backstroke with a 24.61 time.
FAU took the top two places in both diving events. Logan Downey claimed first in the 1- and 3-meter dives, while Miles Miller took second place in both.
UP NEXT
The Owls will be back in action in 2018. On January 4, FAU will host North Florida (women only), NJIT (men only) and William and Mary at the FAU Aquatics Center. That meet is set to begin at 2:00 p.m.
