Christian Williams Named Academic All-Conference

BOCA RATON, Fla. â€" Florida Atlantic University men's soccer's Christian Williams has been named to the Conference USA All-Academic Team, boasting a 3.7 grade point average while studying finance.
"Christian is very deserving of this award," FAU Head Coach Joey Worthen said. "He is one of our captains, our SAAC representative, a leader both on and off of the filed, and an excellent student. He is a great example for us all and I'm happy to see him get the recognition he deserves."
Williams led the Owls in minutes played with 1468 on the year in his 15 starts and 16 matches played. The Southampton, Penn. native scored his first goal of the year in FAU's season finale to send the match against Marshall to overtime where the Owls won 2-1.
