Full 2018 Schedule
BOCA RATON, Fla. The Florida Atlantic University athletics department has released the beach volleyball team's 2018 schedule.
The Owls will hold their Red/Blue match on Friday, Feb. 2, followed by an Alumni Match on Saturday, Feb. 10. FAU opens the season February 23 and 24 at the Stetson Spring Fling. On Feb. 27, the Owls are at FIU for its last match of the month.
FAU opens March in St. Augustine at the UNF Beach Invitational on March 3 and 4. The Owls will host Florida Gulf Coast, Georgia State, Houston Baptist, and Webber International on March 9 and 10 in the third annual Burrow Beach Bash. FAU will travel to Tavares, Florida, for the Stetson/Hickory Point Lake Bash on March 16 and 17 before coming back home on March 21 to host Florida Southern. The Owls will close out March with trips to LSU's Tiger Beach Challenge on March 24 and 25 and down to South Beach for FIU's Sixth Annual Surf & Turf Invitational on March 30 and 31.
On April 6 and 7, FAU will head up to Florida State for its last tournament before the Coastal Collegiate Sports Association (CCSA) Beach Volleyball Championships in Emerson, Georgia, April 20 and 21. The NCAA Championships will be held May 3 through May 5 in Gulf Shores, Alabama.
