BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University women's basketball team will continue road play against Indiana State on Monday night in Terre Haute, Indiana. Game time is set for 7 p.m.
GAME NOTABLES
Monday's game will be the third meeting between FAU (0-2) and Indiana State (0-2). The series record is tied at 1-1. The Sycamores claimed the first victory in 1993, but the Owls won last season in Boca Raton.
LAST TIME OUT
In their last game, the Owls traveled to Colorado to take on the Buffaloes last Wednesday night. In a game that appeared to get away from them, the Owls came back to cut the game to single digits multiple times but couldn't gain the lead.
Senior Sasha Cedeño tied her career high in points with 24 on the night, including a hot third quarter in which she scored 15. Raven Doyle nearly had a double-double in the game with 11 points and eight rebounds.
The Owls forced 21 Colorado turnovers and capitalized by scoring 23 points on the Buffaloes miscues.
SCOUTING INDIANA STATE
The Sycamores have losses to Saint Louis and IUPUI this season. They are led by Wendi Bibbins, who is averaging 15.0 points per game through the first two game of the season.
Head coach Joey Wells is in his fourth season at the helm of the program.
