BOCA RATON, Fla. - A slow start to the game proved too much to overcome for the Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team, losing 86-57 to Middle Tennessee on Saturday night. FAU is now 5-13 overall and 1-6 in C-USA play.
The Turning Point
The C-USA leading Blue Raiders (17-3, 7-0) opened the game on a 17-2 run and the Owls never got closer than double-digits the rest of the way.

- Frank Booker led all scorers with a season-high 22 points.
- William Pfister had a career-high 11 points and seven rebounds.
- FAU outrebounded MT 40-35 on the night.
- The Owls also outscored the Blue Raiders 21-5 on second chance points and 43-28 off the bench.
