Women's Basketball's Jacey Bailey Named FAU Player of the Week

Boca Raton, Fla. - Women's basketball player Jacey Bailey was named Florida Atlantic Player of the Week after back-to-back career performances during Conference USA play over the weekend.
Bailey saw consecutive career-best performances as she put up nine points against WKU on Friday night to set a new personal best and broke that at Marshall on Sunday with 10 points. She was the team's leading scorer versus the Thundering Herd and second-leading scorer in the WKU contest. At Marshall, the freshman went an impressive 2-for-3 from beyond the arc and a perfect 2-for-2 at the free throw line while adding five rebounds, one block and one assist. Bailey is now shooting 33.3 percent from the perimeter and 35.8 percent overall.
Women's basketball is back in South Florida and will head to Miami to face in-state rival FIU on Saturday, Jan. 7 at 2 p.m.
