Day Two Results
The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team completed the second round of the Conference USA Women's Golf Championship in 9th place with a two-round total of 632.
The teams are playing 18 holes each day on the Bob Cupp designed Old Orange, a par 72, 6,194-yard Verandah course in Fort Myers, Fla. After two rounds, Middle Tennessee remains in first place with a team total of 592.
After shooting a shooting an even-par 72 in round one, Kadi Pallastrone followed up on a day two shooting a nine-over 81. The sophomore is now tied for 20th after had three birdies today, coming on the second, 14th and 18th holes.
Daniella Castaneda was next up for the Owls. Castaneda is currently tied for 24th overall after shooting a 77 on the day for a two round total of 154. Junior Heather Netti carded a 12-over 84 in round two after putting up a 79 on the first day and is now tied for 44th.
Christina Langer and Tai Barber rounded out the group for FAU. Langer and Barber are in 49th and 53rd, respectively. The senior Langer shot a 14-over 86 on the second day with one birdie on the par-five fifth hole. The freshman Barber moved up one spot following the second day after shooting an 11-over 83 with one birdie coming on the par-four 12th hole.
The third and final round will begin with the first Owl teeing off at 8:50 a.m. on Wednesday, April 20. Live results can be found here.
