Round 1 Results
The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team concluded the first round of the Conference USA Women's Golf Championship in 7th place with a round total of 307.
The teams are playing 18 holes each day on the Bob Cupp designed Old Orange, a par 72, 6,194-yard Verandah course in Fort Myers, Fla.
Kadi Pallastrone continues to shine as the team's top finisher after 18-holes. The sophomore is tied for 3rd after shooting a 72. Pallastrone carded four birdies on the day, with 3 coming in the last four holes on 15, 16 and 18. Next up, in 26th is Daniella Castaneda who shot a five-over 77. Castaneda shot one birdie on the day, on the par-4 hole 3.
Senior Christina Langer is tied for 36th with junior Heather Netti after shooting a seven-over 79. Both ladies were able to shoot two birdies on the day. Rounding out the group is Tai Barber coming in at 54th, respectively. Barber shot a four-over on the back nine, recovering and finished the round shooting an 87 overall.
The second round will begin with the first Owl teeing off at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 19. Live results can be found here.
