BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic men's tennis played their second match in Tampa on Sunday, and fell the to VCU 4-1. The match played at the University of South Florida facility, started with FAU winning the doubles point. The Owls could not carry any momentum into the singles and dropped four singles matches.

FAU juniors Gerald Nickerson and Stefan Burnett defeated Arvid Noren and Louis Ishizaka 6-2 at the No. 2 doubles. The FAU duo of Anthony Schohn and Alexander Gitin defeated Michal Voscek and Catalin Fifea 6-3 to score the Owls only point of the match.

FAU returns to action Friday April 1 against Troy in Orlando, FL.
