Owls Compete at the Stetson Beach Invitational

DELAND, Fla. - The Florida Atlantic University beach volleyball team participated at the Stetson Beach Invitational over the weekend.
FAU lost to no. 5 Hawaii 5-0 in its first match of the weekend. The Owls didn't win a set in the match. Brittany Pellitteri and Andrea Galinis came the closest, losing the first set 24-22 at no. 3. The Owls lost to no. 9 Stetson 3-0 in a match that was suspended on Friday. Natalie Fraley and Nicole Grant forced a third set at no. 5, but were unable to win the match.
FAU lost to UCLA in their final match of the weekend. Delaney Clesen and Gabrielle Dischler forced a third set on the no. 1 court, but lost 15-10. FAU's match against Florida State was cancelled. The Owls will host Eckerd College in a double dual on Wednesday, March 30. The matches will be held on Deerfield Beach and will start at 2 p.m.
