BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic men's tennis hosted Richmond on Saturday, and came away with a 5-2 win. The Owls have played well as of late, winning four of their last six matches. The Owls started the match against the Spiders strong, winning the doubles point early, and using that momentum to win four of the six singles positions.

FAU's Alexander Gitin and Anthony Schohn defeated Caleb Troy and Jonaathan Quenard 6-4 in the No. 2 doubles. FAU's Zandrix Acob and Remi Chancerel defeated James Aronson/Canyon Teague 6-1 in the No. 3 doubles spot.

In singles FAU sophomore Remi Chancerel defeated Canyon Teague 6-2, 6-2 at the No. 2 position. Chancerl is 10-4 on the season. FAU sophomore Ignacio Jimenez defeated Alex Hahn 3-6, 6-3, 6-4 to also improve to 10-4 on the season. FAU freshman Anthony Schohn defeated Caleb Troy 6-4, 6-2 to continue a seven match win streak. Schohn improved to 9-3 on the season with the win. FAU sophomore Alexander Gitin defeated James Aronson 6-4, 6-2 for his fifth win on the season.

FAU is Back in action against South Alabama Monday March, 14 at 2 p.m. at home.
