Tournament Results
The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team finished in 12th place with a score of 949 after three rounds of play at the FGCU Eagle Invitational.
Heather Netti who was an individual competitor for the Owls finished tied for 24th after shooting 3-over 75 in round three for a final score of 230. The junior tied for 26th after round one and fell to 29th after shooting a 77 in round two.
Senior Christina Langer was FAU's next finisher coming in tied for 41st. The senior shot a 75 in the third round and ended the tournament with a score of 238. Daniella Castaneda tied teammate Langer for 46th place after shooting 81, 79, and 78 through 54 holes.
Sophomore Tai Barber came in tied for 50th place overall after shooting an eight-over 80 today for a total of 239 on the tournament. Kadi Pallastrone finished 54 holes tied for 52nd place with a total of 240. Freshman Emily Faulkner rounded out the group tying for 63rd overall with a tournament total of 245.
The Owls finished this years tournament 101 strokes ahead of last years finish in the Eagle Invitational where they finished in 14th place overall.
The team will take part in the Webber International University tournament on February 21-22 in Lake Wales, Fla.
