BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic Women's tennis hosted Stetson on Saturday and came away with a 4-3 victory. After wining the doubles point FAU held on to win the match in singles with FAU junior Bianca Biglione clinching the match at the No. 5 position.

Biglione defeated Brittany Hill in three sets 4-6, 6-0, 7-5 to seal the victory. Biglione was down 5-2 in the third set and won five consecutive games to steal the third set. Biglione improved to 5-2 with the victory.

"I couldn't be more ecstatic for the FAU women's tennis team. Each Player kept their focus and played great tennis today against an incredibly tough team," said FAU head coach Marcy Cava.

"Beating Stetson has been a goal of mine for years, so I am beyond excited to scratch that one of my list."

The Owls return to action Thursday Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. against Eastern Michigan, at home at Patch Reef Park.
