BOCA RATON, Fla. - (December 3, 2016) - A late 12-3 rally proved crucial in the Florida Atlantic men's basketball team's 88-80 loss to Hofstra on Saturday night. It was the first home loss of the year for the Owls.

The Turning Point

Jailyn Ingram converted a three-point play to give FAU (2-5) a 73-69 lead with 5:32 remaining in the game. The Pride went on their run over the next 4:10 to take the victory.

Notables

Jailyn Ingram led the Owls with 19 points, his fourth double-digit scoring game in a row, and added seven rebounds.
Ronald Delph had 10 points and a team-high eight rebounds.
Jeantal Cylla added 11 points.
Adonis Filer (14) and Gerdarius Troutman (12) came off the bench to give FAU five players in double figures. The duo also added seven assists with no turnovers.
The Owls were outrebounded 49-30 as a team, including 20-7 on the offensive end.
