BOCA RATON, Fla. -- Justin Massey had 15 points to lead all scorers in the Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team's 76-56 win over Webber International on Wednesday night.
The Turning Point
The Warriors cut the Owls' lead to 42-40 with 14:46 to go in the game when FAU (4-6) went on a 15-5 run to push the margin to a dozen and the advantage remained at least nine for the rest of the game.
Notables
- Massey's 15 points came in his second game back on the court for the Owls after transferring back from Brown.
- Jeantal Cylla had a double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Cylla also had four steals.
- Ronald Delph had 13 points and eight rebounds.
- Adonis Filer scored 11 points, dished out seven assists and nabbed three steals.
- FAU had assists on 20 of its 29 field goals.
- The Owls outrebounded Webber 42-32.
- FAU improved to 3-1 at home on the year.
