CORAL GABLES, Fla. - (December 16, 2016) - The Florida Atlantic University men's basketball team made a season low three three-pointers in a 76-56 loss to the University of Miami on Friday night. FAU is now 3-6 on the season.
The Turning Point
After Jailyn Ingram made a layup to cut the Owls' deficit to 20-14 with 7:21 remaining in the first half, the Hurricanes (8-2) went on a 19-8 run over the next six minutes to push the lead to 17. FAU never got closer than 14 points the rest of the way.
