SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS - (November 4, 2016) - The Florida Atlantic University volleyball lost to UTSA in straight sets (25-15, 27-25, 25-7) on Friday night. The Owls fell to 13-12 overall and 8-3 in Conference USA play with the setback.

- Maja Ristic led the Owls with nine kills.
- Sigourney Kame posted six kills for the Owls.

Key Plays
FAU fell behind 13-4 in the first set and was unable to recover, falling 25-15. The Owls led 22-16 late in the second frame, but the Roadrunners (17-6, 8-3) rallied to take the lead. After a Genesis Viera block tied the score at 25, UTSA won back-to-back points to seize a 2-0 lead. The Roadrunners blitzed the Owls in the third set, using a 12-1 run to complete the sweep, 25-7.
