Marshall (18-7, 7-3) got out to an early 7-2 edge in set number two, before FAU rallied to tie the score at 12. The fifth tie of the frame came at 23, before a Sigourney Kame kill put the Owls a point away from a 2-0 lead. Quotable
FAU Head Coach Fernanda Nelson.
"In the first set, our serve receive was really good and we played well. After that, we let our energy drop. Hopefully, what we will learn from today is that you can't do that, especially against a team as good as Marshall."

The Owls travel to Texas to face UTSA and UTEP on Friday, Nov. 4 and Sunday, Nov. 6, respectively.
