Men's Tennis Falls to Miami 5-2

BOCA RATON, Fla. - Florida Atlantic Men's Tennis traveled to Coral Gables and faced off against the University of Miami Hurricanes. The Owls played several close matches including a close match at the No. 3 doubles position with Nile Clark and Kevin Bondar defeating FAU sophomores Alexander Gitin and Zandrix Acaob 7-5.
FAU newcomer Sophomore Remi Chancerel played well and defeated No. 105 ranked Max Andrews 6-4, 7-6 for his first win of the season. FAU sophomore Zandrix Acob defeated Bernard Tefel 6-1, 6-3 for his second win of the season. Acob, won 11 matches last season, good enough to tie for second on the team.
FAU returns to action January 23, at 2p.m. in Daytona against Bethune Cookman.
