The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team completed the second round of the Conference USA Women's Golf Championship in 11th place with a two-round total of 658.
The teams are playing 18 holes each day on the Bob Cupp designed Old Orange, a par 72, 6,081-yard Verandah course in Fort Myers, Fla. After two rounds, Middle Tennessee remains in first place with a team total of 568.
After shooting a season-low 75 in round two, Emily Peters moved up to tie for 46th place after tying for 52nd at the end of the first 18 holes. The junior birdied the par-three second and 11th holes and the par-five 15th.
Heather Netti is tied for 50th after shooting an 80 with two birdies on the day. Sophomore Yumi Fujii improved play also shooting an 80 in round two after putting up an 83 on the first day and is 52nd.
Nicole Marino and Jessica McMillan remained in 54th and 55th, respectively. The senior Marino improved her second round by two strokes to finish with an 86 with birdies on the par-four third and par-five 13th. The freshman McMillan shot a 94 despite birdies on the 14th and 18th holes.
The third and final round will begin with the first Owl teeing off at 8 a.m. on Wednesday, April 22. Live results can be found here.
