FT. MYERS, Fla. -

The Florida Atlantic University women's golf team concluded the first round of the Conference USA Women's Golf Championship in 11th place with a round total of 337.

The teams are playing 18 holes each day on the Bob Cupp designed Old Orange, a par 72, 6,081-yard Verandah course in Fort Myers, Fla.

Heather Netti continues to lead the team as the Owls' top finisher. The sophomore is tied for 48th after shooting an 82. Close behind in 51st is Yumi Fujii who shot an 83. Both players shot one birdie on the day.

Junior Emily Peters is tied for 52nd with a round of 84 and birdies on the par-three second and 11th holes. Rounding out the group is Nicole Marino and Jessica McMillan coming in at 54th and 55th, respectively. The senior Marino shot an 88 while the freshman McMillan had a round one total of 89 with a birdie on par-three 11th.

The second round will begin with the first Owl teeing off at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, April 21. Live results can be found here.
