Rain Forces Cancellation of Game at Marshall

HUNTINGTON, W. V. (April 19, 2015) - Rain in the Huntington area has forced the cancellation of Sunday's softball game between Florida Atlantic and Marshall.

The game was going to be the rubber match of a three-game series between the two teams. FAU won Saturday's first game 3-1, but lost the nightcap 6-5. The Owls, with a Conference USA record of 11-6, remain a half in front of Marshall (10-6) for second place in the East Division.

FAU will host Florida Gulf Coast for a doubleheader on Wednesday before playing their final regular season home games vs. UTSA next weekend. Saturday's doubleheader against UTSA will be Senior Night and the Owls will recognize their five seniors.
